How do I know my springs are wrong for my weight?

If you can't get your race sag and static sag in range at the same time, your springs are wrong for your weight. On 6,679 TBT build sheets the typical static sag is 35mm, and on 2,499 the typical race sag is 102mm.
Signs the springs are too soft
- You need a lot of preload to get race sag.
- Static sag ends up too small.
- The bike dives, wallows or bottoms.
Signs the springs are too stiff
- You can't get enough race sag even with little preload.
- The bike feels harsh and doesn't settle into turns.
