Where would you be with out motocross?
Thats's a tough one. Ever since I started riding motocross it has been a big part of my life. Thats where i've met a lot of great people. I would have probably got into road biking or some type of individual sport i'm not really big on team sports I prefer to do things on my own. Without motocross in my life I would probably have a regular job and be going to school full time. But i'm very lucky to be living my dream and taking a few online college classes.
Ok we got to ask this one, what's up with the miley cyrus theme?
Haha. Quite a few people ask me "why do you have those". She's my dream girl lol I like Miley Cyrus and her music. My friend Natalie Schoons from Sign Art Graphix hooked me up with them. It's something different everyone has the same graphics these days with just different logos might as well have some fun and do something completely different. I'll probably be running them at supercross this year never know Miley might be in the stands hahaha.
2012 plans?
My plans for the 2012 season are to race all 17 rounds of the AMA supercross series. After the sx series is over I plan to race Mammoth motocross in June and Vegas to Reno in August. But the event I am most excited about racing is the Catalina GP at the end of the year.
Any memorable racing moments that stand out for you?
My most memorable racing moment so far would have to be winning the 2011 TSCO Vegas to Reno Iron Man expert class earlier this year. Racing across the desert for 12 hours across 550 miles solo is something you don't get to do very often. Also making the main event at the Toronto supercross in 2010. Its one thing to race in a heat race but getting into a main event is even more exciting.
Supercross or outdoors?
Supercross for sure! Personally I like racing sx you have all the people and lights overalls its just a great time weather your racing or watching. Outdoors is fun but nothing can compare to sx.
Anything make you different from other privateers?
Hmm i'm not quite sure haha. I've only been riding motorcycles for 10 years i started at 13 years old. No one in my family before me raced or rode motorcycles. Other than that I guess it would be that I try to stand out more by wearing bright colors and making my bikes stand out just a little bit more. With having bright multi color graphics or having half color wheels those are very eye catching and easy to spot on the track. Other than that i'm just like every other privateer having fun racing.
